Umesh Yadav dismissed the other opener Kaushal Silva.

Dinesh Chandimal made a quick 23 bu t was sent back by Binny.

Binny picked up the wicket of Karunaratne just before lunch and pegged back Sri Lanka.

The Indian slip cordon was put to test and they performed well enough.

Ishant Sharma picked up the wicket of Tharanga and gave India the early breakthrough.
